Water Based Flocculating Agent

F.L.20 is part of our Water Treatment (Spray Booth) product range. Within Wet Back or Water Curtain Spray Booth environments it is essential to prevent paint adhesion to anything other than the product requiring spraying. Paint can clog machinery and cause blockages which can result in a booth giving poor performance.

The product is a cationic, water-based agent used in the water curtain circulation system of paint spray booths which flocculates paint overspray into an easily removed state resulting in a more efficient system. Many paints can be skimmed off daily, leaving sumps clear of overspray. F.L.20 has many preventative properties saving time and money, and boasts the added benefit of inhibiting scale in water systems where scale can be a problem.

F.L.20 prevents blockages of jets and nozzles in internal parts of the spray booth and prevents the build up of overspray on baffles, which if left, would harden leaving bacteria to grow underneath. The product also prevents the blockage and scouring of booster pumps helping to reduce the risk of sudden pump failure and burnouts. Pressure drop in circulation systems can cause costly blockages, but F.L.20 eliminates this problem, saving not only money but inefficient downtime.

F.L.20 is compatible with Chemaide products BH4 and JB15.
