Specialised Water Based Paint Flocculant

As more water based paints and lacquers are introduced in order to aid the control of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) the need to flocculate these materials in the spray booth has become even more apparent. BN50 is part of our Water Treatment (Spray Booth) product range and is designed to prevent water based paints and lacquers adhering to booth surfaces.

BN50 is based on a strongly cationic polycondensation product which is highly efficient at flocculating water based resins and can even remove old residues which have built up over time.

BN50 prevents blockages of jets and nozzles in internal parts of the spray booth and prevents the build up of overspray on baffles, which if left, would harden leaving bacteria to grow underneath. The product also prevents the blockage and scouring of booster pumps helping to reduce the risk of sudden pump failure and burnouts. Pressure drop in circulation systems can cause costly blockages, but BN50 eliminates this problem, saving not only money but inefficient downtime.

BN50 also has some bactericidal properties which enhance the effects of Chemaide products BH4 and JB15 which are used as main bactericides.
