Specially Designed Non Foaming Liquid Biocide
BH4 and JB15 are members of our Water Treatment (Spray Booth) range of products. When water is continuously recirculated within a controlled environment it can become full of bacteria. The bacteria can then cause an unhealthy workplace for personnel. BH4 and JB15 are specially designed non-foaming liquid biocides used to give long lasting anti-microbial protection in Spray Booth water curtains.
In systems where water is constantly present, algal and bacterial slime can form. This can not only reduce the efficiency of a spray booth and cause blockages, but can also cause foul odours. BH4 and JB15 are extremely effective in combating these organisms and eradicating unpleasant odours.
.
These products are very easy to use and require no metering. They are stable in both acid and alkaline systems and suitable for use in holding tanks, air conditioning, cooling towers and heat exchangers.
Whereas many products with microbial actions are corrosive and can attack metal and concrete, BH4 and JB15 have the added benefit of being non-corrosive and will not cause any damage to components such as pumps.
Methods of Use:
Ideally any contaminated system should be thoroughly cleaned out before treatment with BH4 or JB15, thus preventing blockage of the system from dead organisms.
An initial dose of 12 litres to a 1350 litres system should be added. This should be repeated until control is apparent.
Once control is established the system should be dosed once a week with 3 litres of BH4 or JB15 per 1350 litres. In situations of severe contamination the dose may have to be increased.
Kills a wide range of bacteria creating a safe working environment
Non-corrosive in use which lengthens the life of equipment
Non-evaporating resulting in longer anti-microbial protection
