Effective Solvent for Removing Oils, Fats & Waxes
Rap-Evap is a member of our Degreaser product family. A good degreaser is imperative to ensure a clean surface. Components need to be kept free from grease and grime but this can prove costly and time consuming. Rap-Evap is a fast evaporating and extremely effective solvent that aims to clean equipment as quickly as possible.
Unlike other solvents, this degreaser can be used on all metals and is compatible with many plastics and elastomers. However, it is always advisable to check that it will not adversely affect gaskets and seals prior to use. Rap-Evap reduces the turnaround time of cleaning considerably by evaporating in approximately ten minutes, allowing the machinery to resume its normal workload.
The product is exceptionally safe, with a low toxicity and a flash point above 41 degrees centigrade. It contains no chlorinated solvents, is environmentally friendly and its low odour makes the product pleasant to use. Rap-Evap is particularly suitable for cold cleaning applications, dip tanks and cold wipe cleaning, and the performance can be enhanced by mechanical agitation.
