One Pack Polyurethane Coating
RD100 is a member of our Specialist Industrial range of products. Flat roofs in particular, need careful maintenance and repair to maximise their durability. However from time to time cracks do appear and require the application of a coating that repairs and resists all weather conditions. RD100 is an elastic roof repair providing the permanence that Bitumen alternatives fail to offer.
Tar extended and moisture curing, this one pack polyurethane coating offers an impervious waterproofing membrane. Should damage to the membrane occur, RD100 provides the versatility of over coating which effectively repairs itself. This product is extremely elastic and has a mechanical memory to 100% when tensioned and retensioned. It will not split or crack ensuring that deep cracks and fissures are completely filled.
RD100 is highly resistant to weather conditions, most industrial chemicals and is not affected by ultra violet light. It will not freeze and is heat stable to temperatures between –40º and 100ºc when fully cured.
A convenient one-coat application dries in 8 to 12 hours and cannot be harmed by light rainfall shortly after application. Simple to apply with no prior heating or mixing required, RD100 can be used direct from the can by brush or roller.
This product is suitable for the following uses; for waterproofing and protection of roofing felt, asbestos encapsulation, slate tiles, plywood, non-ferrous and ferrous sheeting. It also can prevent damp in concrete floors and foundations, suspended floors, tunnels, patios, car parks, bridges, balconies, pipes, sewerage tanks, pits, cavity walls and drainpipes.
